Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan enters Guinness World Records and becomes the world’s largest museum of Islamic Civilization
1731On April 13, 2026, Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan was officially recognized as the largest museum of Islamic civilization in the world, receiving the prestigious title from Guinness World Records.
The solemn award ceremony was attended by the official representative and Şeyda Subaşı Gemici, judge of Guinness World Records, who confirmed that the Center meets all international standards.
The event was also attended by the architects, planners, designers and builders who made a significant contribution to the project’s realization. The award was presented to the members of the Center's Scientific Council.
